1 year ago you were a smoker. And now you are an invaluable inspiration to those who have followed you. You've come a long way, baby! CONGRATS! And thanks for being there for us.

Blythe-
What has worked for me is reminding myself in vivid detail what is was like at the beginning; back when I was still kidding myself that "slips" did not mean starting all over. When I realized that I was sending myself back to square one each time I slipped, that is when the cravings stopped controlling me. Oh, I still get one now and again when the right trigger goes off. But I no longer have that overwhelming urge to act on it. I just don't wanna go back there. Just remember one thing: You do not smoke. Period. Say it to yourself and anyone who will listen, even if you don't believe it at first. You will. And so will everyone else.
Cold Turkeys don't smoke.

You know, I have noticed that I can actually see my words leaving my mouth lately! Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one. However, I'm not a brand-new quitter and this symptom probably should have gone away by now. So, I'm guessing this one's here to stay. Should I warn everyone to wear their spit-guards when I'm feeling long-winded?
Cold Turkeys are Moist-Mouths!

OMG! Has it been 6 months already? You are so awesome that mere words cannot do justice. You have inspired, brought humour, comforted, lightened loads, talked us down, cheered us up. You are the Nico-Killer, and we are not worthy...
(Is that enough now? When do I get my money?)
Cold Turkeys LO-O-OVE N2K!!!

[Sorry, nothing fancy, flashy, or colourful, here. Just a little shock & awe...]
Okay, @ the 6-month mark, it's time to spill it: What's your secret for success? Don't try to hide in that phone booth; [are there still phone booths???]. We all know who you are, Nico-Killer. It's time to expose you as the Super-Hero we've always suspected you were. Take off the mask & cape and tell us what we need to know: How did you do it!?!
Cold Turkeys are WAITING...
