Stress Part II

Davit,

I can’t grasp what you mean by a zone. Emotion is pervasive, as thoughts are, and when they are congruent to our values, then we’re grounded. The uneasiness all of us share though, is pervasive. The idea of a “zone” seems nice on one hand, but too simplisitic on the other hand.

A cluttered mind is like a crop with weeds. The weeds are pervasive. If you asked buddy how his “zone” of corn is, on the neighbouring farm, you might get banned from the seed exchange...Could it be that zones aren’t clear cut and life isn’t that simple?... except to Alanis Morisette who sings for her supper while the rest of us have to dig ditches...

Ashley,
I just to try see how much Guy is doing, and use his, and others' momentum to keep cleaning, as much as I dislike it..

Now is the Time!

Ashley,
One thing i have trouble with is balancing leisure with all these things to do.  Tomorrow I have a period where I have a long wait, and decided to find something I really wished to read, and found another treasure, which for some reason ,  I'm looking forward to reading during that period, when I can't leave the space, where I'm committed to being for about three hours.

It takes something outside of me to give me this gift of reading, which I can never allow myself!  I find I have to practically fool other people into thinking I am doing things for alterior motives, since there isn't much support for me.

Reading this book, or if I have to wait long enough, a second book too(!), will be like eating ice cream all day!

The job is now contributing to anxiety

Wrestler,
I was going to say welcome, but you joined about when I did.  I've found few people are actually persevering after they join, from the posting I see, but that could be good or bad.  The people doing the data crunching really have a better grasp...

Your work sales data is probably not something you wish to be reminded of so I'll let you melt into yoga...Namaste

I did it (and didn´t die :p)

I had to get some help  gardening,so I had to go to local event to find the contact.  She wasn't there.

As I drove away, I convinced myself I could ask someone at the event if they knew her, or maybe they knew someone who knew her.

I returned with someone who would contact her, if I could just email him.

I was able to return, despite my trying to escape, and it might work out, and it might not.

I made the most of the situation, and didn't die doing it.

If it doens't kill you, it will make you stronger!

Stress Part II

Sunny,
I'm glad you and Davit can benefit from the zone or circle.
However, I carry more baggage than a flight attendant with hoarding issues(at least I say "stewardess" for the political correctness readers).

I can't even accept the career I had, or the achievements I had.  It's odd, but its like an eraser wiped my life away.

Do I need a "fear goggle" prescription!

I'm to have had so many people work with me, to help me, but there are limits, like that "Serenity prayer...".

I guess I should say thank you for trying.:(

Hey i´m Michelle, im new. Looking for social support with people who can relate

Michelle,
What an inspiring poem to go to bed with!
I enjoyed reading how the author had so many obstacles, and how that poem inspired a prisoner of war.....thank you....how would I return the favour except with another?

What Ties Me to The Earth is Unseen

My heart was beating like a heron awakened
in the weeds, no room to move.  Tangled
and surprised by the noise of my mind,
I fluttered without grace to the centre
of the lake which humans call silence.

I guess, if you should ask, peace
is no more than the underside
of tired wings resting on the lake
while the heart in its feathers
pounds softer and  softer.

I did it (and didn´t die :p)

Tiana,
Sometimes I move so slowly, some people just laugh, wondering if I moved any slower, I'd be going backwards....like the Nassau shuffle...two steps forward, one step back...but that's my "emotional timetable"....and its the best I can do...

Now is the Time!

Tiana,
I believe it's reality, and I just am making the best of it.  The way I deal with it is that my "religious" belief system sees merit in doing the mundane, since it is part of the dignity of life.  Look at all the ordinary people doing ordinary things, for most of their life...there is a "reverance" in the ordinary, and I can relate to most of the world.  Problems arise for those who see the greener grass on the other side of the imaginary fence, and then make the wrong wagers, and lose too much.

I was doing better...

  Ashepp,

I admired the fact that you only lost some of your hope and optimism, and only for a few seconds. In your own words, you think the program is helping, and you’re toughing it out, while remaining optimistic about the next person to work with.

The fact that you ended  your post, stating you’re only venting is a healthy sign, along with the favourable medical test results, and that could help break cycle we get drawn into, of perpetuating uneasiness of our perceived symptoms when they are less than the results state they are.

Like good software designed products, you sound like you’re “robust” and dealing with a minor “glitch”...we have a lot more going for us than software though, shown by your vulnerable side with the two birds building a nest.
