HI Jen,
I feel the same way. lol...actually I almost had to stop reading your post!
If I really need to watch the news or find out whats going on I try to avoid newspapers or news channels. I like to watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart or something with humor. This makes it easy on me.
Hi, my name is Sarah and I just found this site. I have been struggling with panic disorder for years now. I have lost my job and my friends, the hospital is like my second home, and I have no health insurance. My family doesn't understand why I can't just go out and get a job. In 2005 I graduated with honors and received my AA in Criminal Justice. So... why can't I just go get a job? lol I have trouble going shopping, let alone going to work! They put a lot of pressure on me and I have no one to go to or talk to.... :confuse:
Hi,
My name is Sarah. I am 27 years old and I am a mother to a 10 yr. old. I started having panic attacks at 21. Now I have a panic disorder. I can't stand taking medication because it sometimes makes it worse. I am hoping this site will help me. :-)
HI Mommyto2boys
Recently I have had the same Vertigo/dizziness and Internal tremors. I have had so many tests done. Cat Scans, MRI, blood work, etc. They tell me nothing is wrong. It's hard to make myself believe that I am ok and that all of this physical "real" pain is from anxiety. I didn't realize the vertigo could be from panic/anxiety. (I had to do my own research). My psychiatrist wanted me to see a psychologist but because of my insurance problem I can't. So...I find myself here.
I am so happy you have a supportive husband and you are seeking help now and not later. Hopefully after we go through the steps it will help us!
~Sarah
;p
Hi Kitty, I too had a heart palpitaion the other day and it was scary but my doctor said it's normal and to stop worrying. (easier said than done)
Do you have a stomach ache or a specific pain? I think you should go to your doctor and get it checked out just to put your mind at ease. I am sure it's just your nerves. Yes, your nerves can definetly make you "think your sick". I thought I had the flu the other day because of chills and hot flashes. Then it just magically disapeared. Tell me what the doc says...xo
Ali,
I have the same problem. I always get "Why are you upset?" "What's the matter?" "Are you mad at me?" or people just don't talk to me because I look unapproachable. I feel like I have to look @ my face in the mirror to make sure I don't look mad. lol
As far as the eye contact...I have that problem with certain types of people. Especially people with judging eyes.
Dancing Heart
About 2 months ago I was in my kitchen (this has happened to me me before) all of a sudden my heart started racing, I felt light headed, cold sweat, and I started to see spots (before you black out). I just made it to the bed before I did pass out.
I went to the emergency room as soon as I could get up and they did a blood test, cat scan and told me everything was normal but that my blood pressure was high. I explained to them that I almost passed out and she said that would be imposssible because I had high blood pressure.??? I know I was going to pass out if I didn't make it to the bed because it has happened to me before. No one has been able to explain it.....
Each month or so I have a new "illness". One month I thought I had asthma and I couldn't breath...Well the lump in my throatand all of the symptoms dissapeared magically and now I believe I have some kind of disease that is making me weak...
but whenever I get over one illness and I start to feel better I jump to another one. It's almost like I just can't allow myself to live in peace and just be happy.
I think it's ridiculous. I had always been a strong person. It had me so upset the other day I started screaming at myself in the middle of the craft store...The people must have really thought I was nuts....LOL ( maybe it's really not that funny)
