did I cheat or not?

K,, so this is what happened. I was coming out of the grocery store and this guy was having a cig but I didn`t see the cig until I came out and just as I did he happened to blow out his drag,,well I took a deep breath, sucked in some second hand smoke and then got the heck outta there,, question...was that considered cheating or taking a puff?   was kinda nice but now I feel guilty. Sometimes I am so stupid when it comes to cigs, I still cannot be around anyone who smokes as I know I would as well.

I have gained 34 pounds since quitting smoking, my worst crave ever? microwave Kraft dinner and tropicana extra pulp orange juice, it`s so bad I have dreamed about it and woken up to make some, god, I am so addicted. I cannot possibly stop this or I will go back to cigs.  I used to be 124 pounds now am 158, what a piggy I am. gotta go now and make some KD in the mike.    P.S. I am on meds for high Cholesterol and on Heart meds also, have been for 15 yrs. Any suggestions?

Kraft dinner

Macaroni and cheese is Kraft dinner and when you buy microwavable it is so cheesy and salty.I have tried all the good snacks but get so bored with it my mind wanders back to cigs. It`s not good for my health problems but as with cigs I have the same attitude,,,I don`t care I just want it,,, kinda 6 of 1, half dozen of the other.

Kraft dinner

Yeah,,,and that`s not the worst of it. I eat a pkg of McVitties digestives every 4 days. I love them and I fear they are my new cigs, Every time I get a crave its KD and then a couple of digestives with a huge glass of orange juice. I am hopeless, I cannot change my habits at all, it`s that or cigs.

What is Champix/ Chantix?

It works, you have to want to quit and help yourself, after about two weeks or so the side effects wear off and you settle in, most people say their dreams are terrific and very vivid, a small few do have nightmares. I think it all depends on your attitude. If you really want to quit and you are ready it can work for you. Remember to drink lots of water with this drug and if you take with food the nauseous effect is lowered considerably. Sleep as much as you can in the first two weeks while your body adjusts to the drug. I took two weeks off and slept 18 hrs a day.  Talk to your Doctor and good luck.

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 10/17/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 230
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,750
Amount Saved: $1,840.00
