What a fantastic suggestion Mr Ed.
As a newbie, I can use all the help I can get and what better way: Learning from those who have succeeded.

This is a great thread Changing.
I thought there was something running amok with me.
I'm experiencing something a little different though. I'm really tired all the time but can't sleep. Maybe I'm fighting it, I don't know. But it's nice to know that it will fade as my quit progresses!
Thank you for your post Casey. A lot of great tips!

Congratulations Jan.
I'm glad I found this thread. I'm also a little crabby today! :D
My hubby is happy that I've quit smoking but wishes it didn't trigger my vocals. I think he's looking for some duck tape to hold my tongue in place. I must show him this thread! lol.
I agree with you. As long as we can laugh at ourselves, all is not lost!

Hi Patrick, Tresa and axioux1. You all have a way of saying things that trigger positive feelings! Great attitudes. I'm going to stick with you!
Your name always makes me smile smokerella! I giggle each time I see it. I visualize a smoker magically transforming into a beautiful non-smoker, glass slippers and all! :D
You mentioned that you thought the 3 day was the worse. Eeeccckkk! That's tomorrow for me. Hehehe.

Since fruits and vegetables are vitamin rich, how about this recipe -
It's good!
Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad
6 servings
1 cucumber, peeled
1 cup mayonnaise
2 TB white wine vinegar
1 garlic clove, pressed
1 TB sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 lb cauliflower, coarsely chopped
1 lb broccoli, coarsely chopped
4 green onions, sliced
Cut cucumber in half lengthwise, and thinly slice. Whisk together mayonnaise and next 4 ingredients in bowl. Add cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, and green onions, tossing well. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.
