Eddie -- Welcome and congratulations on 3 smoke-free days. That's terrific. Just try and get through one day and soon those smoke-free days will start to add up. Reading Allen Carr's book has been extremely helpful for me. Here's the link if you'd like to read it. http://www.geocities.com/purplkoala55/allencarr-easywaytostopsmoking.pdf Keep posting and reading. It really helps. Thank you everyone. I sure hope that it gets easier from here on out. I had major cravings today but did not smoke. In addition to quitting smoking, I'm also exercising almost daily (walking and treadmill). Although I have Chantix (prescribed by my doctor,)I am doing this via cold-turkey. I want to live a healthier life. I want to grow old with my wife and see my kids grow up and have their own kids. That's my motivation.

Way to go Eddie! So today you will make a new record for yourself, huh? And tomorrow another one? That's great! Are you using any aids or going cold turkey? Since you have been reading here, I guess you know drinking lots of water is a good thing, as is planning rewards for yourself. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
