The Rumors are True

Being just on day 2 I am really in the throws of this...and I even got lost yesterday on the way home from work! I have been working and living in the same place for three years! I could really spend a lot of time feeling bad and guilty that I didn't get any work done this week, and I'm a complete space case...But just think about all the hours and hours I won't be spending at the warehouse door smoking. I am going to be having some mercy on myself this month. June is my slow month at work anyways. I can totally relate Nascarfan! LOL! I just have to laugh at myself. And I agree it is great! I am constantly forgetting things, loosing things, getting lost, forgetting what I was just thinking about, and all at a mile a minute! Laughing at it all is the best. I don't care that I am a spazz at the moment ... I am just so darn happy at the realization of everything. I hear that some depression may be coming ... so I am enjoying this for all that it is worth! It is great to hear I'm not alone in this euphoria! Stoppin Kasey is on fire this year...I have been a die hard Kahne fan since his rookie year, so since beginning of 2004! I have been through the slumps and crazy wreck fests that he has been in the past 2 years! NOW he is the driver I knew he would be, he just needed to calm down and points race! I am so jealous of you! I only live about 3 hours from KC track but man you gotta be rich to get tickets and all. Yikes, I never imagined a race would be so costly! If ya see Kasey get his autograph for me!!! hehe! Thanks for being so kind. I feel like maybe I can help 1 person get through this! If I do that, then thats great! I get so much support here as well so I just pay it forward! Woohoo....you rock! Stoppin wrote.....I too am a NascarFan...in fact...I can hear the track from my office! Who is your favorite driver? That is too cool...you must be close to a track, huh? What part of the states do you live in? My favorite driver is Kasey Kahne #9 I also like Carl Edwards #99, Matt Kenseth #17, Mark Martin #6 I just love the sport as a whole and I wanna go to a race so bad I can taste it!!! Haha! There aren't many drivers that I don't like per se! Your brain goes when you quit smoking! Really, it does. The withdrawl from the carbon minoxide causes you to feel spacey, in another world, can't concentrate...etc. I can tell you first hand that its TRUE! I took my break and our beta's needed food so bad, like a week ago bad! There is a fish store about a mile from my work. It took me 30 minutes to get there! OMG!!! I first turned the wrong way, went north instead of south! Then once I got on the right direction I freakin passed the turn for the store. I came back and turned into the Wrong dang drive...it was a 1/2 block farther down. Then tried to take a shortcut and it was a freakin dead end! The way the streets work you can't always turn left so I had to go all the way around AGAIN and AGAIN and finally made it!!!!!!! THEN I left my keys on the counter in the store...LOL! What a crazy trip. I was paying attention to my driving but for some reason I couldn't freakin figure out where I was trying to go! LOLOLOL! My god, I never thunk a mile trip would take a total of 45 minutes! I was frustrated but all I could do was laugh, that made me feel better! You would be so surprised at what a toll quitting takes on your body, mind and soul. It is insane, I barely feel like myself. Not complaining just observing what this is like for me! I can't wait until I get my new life back! Nascarfan - what a hoot! I laughed only because I know exactly what you are going through. Been there! Done that! and got the award for the spaciest from my friends on a weekend trip with the girls. It does get better, then about 80 days it does it again. The fog cleared quicker tho! I just wanted to tell you again how proud I am of you and your ability not to smoke and at the same time support everyone here - especially the newbies! You are great! Woo Hoo NascarFan...I am in the lovely state of Florida...yes, that famous speedway is right across the street...shhh turn down your stereo, I will let you listen! I love the races too...Kasey did a great job on Sunday. My daughter loves him too. I use to be Mikey Waltrip fan but now am without a specific driver because he let me down ;p when he went to Dodge06/Toyota07...I am a down home Chevy Race Girl! My hubby loves Jimmy Johnson! I turned hubby on to racing when I snagged him from NJ 10 years ago. Hubby does not smoke so it will be nice going to the Pepsi 400 with no worries about smoking. Then off to Homestead in November...woo hoo...I will scream at the top of my beautifully clear lungs! I have been inspired by you and your posts...you are always so supportive. I would like to support the folks in need but as I am 9 days away from quit day I don't suppose it would be too impactful! But I am cheering everyone on from the sidelines and will jump in with both feet a week from Sunday...even if I am choosing not to smoke today
