Good job....You are on track...all this is normal...I had quit for almost two years before I allowed.......excuses to enter into my think tank(home fire/husband in hospital in coma) any ole excuse would have worked cause the enemy whisper you really need a cigarettee to be you best friend right now ...that was in 1991..Now I am tapering off to go back down that road..expept this time with a map of the pit falls.......quick sand....wolfs..........hang on sister your strong and we can do this.......

Mira, you have posted a lot of things on this site that have really 'reached' me. From what I have read you sound like a wonderful person. I'm really sorry you are having a rough day today. Try and remember it is part of the process. It means you are taking another step forward. You are healing. Hang in there girl. If you need to chat or vent ... I've added you to my messenger. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. ~Breaking Free~ My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 410 Amount Saved: $52 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 3 Mins: 39 Seconds: 57

I took the depression test, Casey, thank you. I don't think I am depressed. I think I am being a bee-yatch because I am not smoking. lol If the bad feelings continue, I will consult a therapist and bring a copy of the results of my exam. Thanks again. Thanks Shevie. :) So, I am low on the pleasure/reward. Maybe that is why I feel like I suck and everything around me sucks. lol Seriously. Bad MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I also gained 2.4 pounds despite my walking and eating right. Whoever tells you that eating is what makes you gain weight and not smoking is a liar!!!!!!!!! Cigarettes Not Smoked

Okay, I have been relatively okay since my quit. I must admit. I don't know if this is a side effect of not smoking or not, but today, I am really, really depressed. Yes, I fought with my BF the past few days. I guess the arguments were not very serious. Maybe they were. I don't know anymore. I feel like I have lost my gauge on things. Things that may be minor have suddenly become pretty huge or maybe they were always huge but smoking allowed me to feel like they were minor. I simply don't know. I don't want to smoke, but I want to know why I feel this way. I want to kick something and I want to scream but I am not even sure why I am so angry. I guess the smoking curbed my anger. I don't know. I am starting to feel like I have a lousy personality but smoking masked that. Seriously. I feel like a bee-yatch. I am also very sad. Very sad. I want to cry and cry. Urgh. Thanks 4my2girls :) I guess smoking did mask a lot of emotions. Maybe people who liked me before will not like me now. Like my BF or my friends. I don't know. I feel like a mess. I can't wait to get home. I want to do something physical. That may help. I don't want anyone in my way. What a cranky person I am! lol Thanks again for your kind words and good advice. I will try to be nice to myself first. Wow, you too! I had a heck of a time days 8-10 and now I am working on day 11 and feeling better. I was a bear last-night! With my hub and my son...every LITTLE thing set me off. I was better than when I was at work but not much! This will pass...you have been there for me and I am here to do the same for you. You walked me through my tough days, and I thank you! Don't give up hun, you know this is only temporary. I am proof, I feel better today. BIG HUGS!!!
