Yep I have hypothyroidism and am taking medication for it. It worked for a while, I wasn't gaining any weight but that didn't last very long. Now I'm retaining water again. I'm not too worried over the weight thing but I am very much over weight and I just want to feel healthy. I'm tired of my body aches.....ohhh wait, that's probably cuz I'm gettin old....dang, reality bites. Hmmmm brushing teeth, nudder good idea! Keep em comin!!! :)

Ohhh hubby bought some strawberries last night....yummmm I had a slim fast for breakfast this morning & the water is keeping me from eating I think. I usually don't eat during the day so I'm not too worried about porkin out on anything but I do have an emergency supply of carrots, apple cinnamon rice cakes, and fruit. Oh yeah, chewing on a straw helps too!

Yes today is my first day. Thanks for the tips. The craving is so bad right now. I'm at the point where I will go outside and find a butt to just take one hit. No No No. I will not do that. I'll go grab some water. I don't want to smell.

Milaya: That is what I have too...BLAH! My T4 is 1.63 but a normal TSH level...go figure...so I have to pick up my scripts for bloodwork for an appt on the 24th. At the moment, I am .125 for my meds. I hate it when it goes out of whack...I end up sleepy, dry scalp, itchy skin, etc...BLAH BLAH BLAH!! I read somewhere once we are supposed to get out thyroid levels checked 4 weeks after a successful quit. Something about metabolism, thyroid, and something else....*scratches head* I forget the other reason.... :/ My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 10 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 85 Amount Saved: $20 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 22 Mins: 27 Seconds: 9

It's so true Milaya! I sliced up a lemon and stuck it into my mouth. I have a special place in my heart for tart things :) As for cleaning...I bought all kinds of cleaning products w/ the orange scent :) I love that smell :) *sigh* You did very well :) WOOT!!
