Boy, the inspiration just keeps getting better and better!! How did you make it through the early days Katy? Hopefully their a distance memory? I was just reading a post from Ah! Had a bad day (forgot her name, sorry) about yelling at her son, well I look after 6 kids a day and I had a really bad day with them and all I can say is I'm hanging on!!!I'll be a much better role model once I'm back to my normal self (or should I say NEW AND IMPROVED SELF) THANKS, charlie girl My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 37 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 227 Amount Saved: $74 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 21 Mins: 55 Seconds: 9

L G Thanks for asking. I'm actually journaling at the moment. Thought I would keep my fingers busy typing. I'm sticking close to the site today. Thought maybe we'd try the walk later, when I need to pick up my son from school. Made myself some tea! this is charlie girl. Having a realy bad day!!! The dark black cloud has hit me like a ton of bricks!! I can no longer see the light! My husband and I had an awful disagreement last night. It's like he's pushing me to see if I will break!!! Emotionally he knows I'm weak and he's using that against me. Why? Why can't I be strong for more than 3 days? Why is it that all I do is cry and rage? Is this my life? Thought I was over the demon!!! Is the nicotein still in my body? After this much time? If this is what it is going to do to me and my marriage I think I'd rather die of smoking than a broken down used up woman!! Thanks for the support. Tried to go for a walk but kids are acting up and I don't feel up to taking 6 kids and a lab for a destress walk. Mu husband quit smoking 1 1/2 ago and anyone who hasn't quit as long as him is considered one smoke away from starting agin. So he's waiting for the day I cave in. He also suffers from Depression and we are having a hard time as a couple. He's pushing me away as well as setting me up for failure! I know deep down a smoke isn't going to help. hi. This seems to be a stage of our quit. One of many for sure... I am also feeling very discouraged but I know that smoking is just a temporary fix. I have to explore a new me and do so without smoking.Yikes. We will get stronger as we distance ourselves from nicodemon. This can take up to a year or two,but it will happen...just as long as you never take "just one" puff. Hi Charlie, You hang in there girl. I too have 37 days today and I know of what you speak. Stay close to SSC, I know that just getting a response from others will help you get through. All I was doing was crying and raging also until two days ago when someone told me to turn on that demon and give it no control. So now when I feel that demon trying for a strong hold I turn and tell myself how proud I am of me, how great I smell and look, how wonderful it is to be 37 days free of those terrible killing sticks that once I thought was my friend. How proud I am that I chose to quit, no one else forced me, it was my chose, my decision and I did it, and I'm doing it one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time but we are doing it. You hang in there and know that you have friends and a support group that is there for you in what ever way you need us to be. Good Luck ^I^ LG My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 37 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 752 Amount Saved: $148 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 8 Mins: 50 Seconds: 48

Yeah, Cincere I think is right - there are a few of us at the same stage of our quit all going through a rough time right now...but I believe we can crack this, and we can do it together!! Six children, wow you are strong to keep a quit with your busy, stressful life! I'm sorry your hubby is being.... ahem... difficult. You need support right now not more stress. Is there anyone you can call to come over to give you a chance for a change of scenery? Relative or friend? You are right, a cig. will not make things better.
