The quotes come from the "toolbox" tab, at the far right on the home page of the Panic Center, by the way. You can't see them if you don't log on.

I find they're a great inspiration, since they distil the lifetime sometimes, of an individual, who might sometimes be gifted or exceptional or experienced something unique. Imagine what we could be if we just gathered all those free gems and shaped ourselves!

I want to learn to listen more to others as I age, since I think these conditions have left me inattentive for too long, and I have missed connecting with peoples' gifts. An example is that I recently had a massage from a woman who has many cats, and love animals. She talked a lot last time I saw her about her cats, and I almost went to a workshop on how to care for wildlife which is dead or wounded, sponsored by an animal-friendly organization. This shows a different side of me. I didn't go, but it all start with acceptance, when it comes to change, doesn't it?

Change the words fail and failure to experience and I would agree with you. I do not like the word failure. I don't hate it because I do not like the word hate, like so many negative words.

That's a great quote about how to deal with failure. I used to fear failure, and still do, but now I plan on failing. Whatever it is I'm trying to do, based on past experience, I will fail at more often than not. However when I do fail, it is not the end but rather a time to reassess and try again with more knowledge. I hate when people say "Failure is not an option". To me failure is the only option you know for sure you have. If I think for a minute that I have a task or project where I can't fail than I don't want anything to do with it. I'll never give up but don't tell I can never fall down. Wisdom comes from experience, experience comes from mistakes
