I have been working this program for a long time now.

I have reached my goals with the help of this program, the support group and many others. I have reached the top of the mountain and I am now panic free.

The time has come for me to move on to bigger and better things and get on with living my life.

I wish you all luck in your quest to be free from panic and anxiety.

Davit,

Thank you..I have to agree with you I have come a long way since I started the program here..I am almost at the top of that mountain now..

To Everyone:
I have seen many make it to the top that have come here and worked the program. This program really does work for everyone...and I want to encourage everyone to post..We really are a very supportive group..Helping each other on this journey and overcoming our anxiety and panic..No matter what disabilities we may have we can all make it to the top of that mountain.....

Red

Thank you, It must have taken a lot for you to post this. It says a lot for how far you have come.
Let me reiterate for those that may not understand. It is doubly hard for a person with a chronic disease or condition to get a grip on anxiety and actually beat it. The biggest reason seems to be the futility of it all. I, Red, Richard and any one else here with a chronic condition already know this. But I beat it and so will they. Not that it makes anyone else's journey any less it just means for some of us we have to put in the extra time because there is so much more on our plate. It also means we have to fight the tendency to set back constantly. We also have to keep our condition secret because just like anxiety disorders, people fear the unknown. I refuse to be an outcast, a leper, a reject. I like me. Red I like you. You will get to the top of the mountain just like I did. Even with all that is against you. You will do it. I have watched you grow and I will be here for you till you do and then some.

I mean it when I say,
Here for you,
Your friend.

Davit,

I am glad to hear you bone density test came out in the green today. Its good to hear that you will be resting this weekend and maybe playing with your new bandsaw..

I am relieved to hear that my posts are clear and make sense.  I under went treatment with Interferon and Pegylated Interferon for Hep C back in 2004.It was a little gift my late husband brought back from the Vietnam War. Its was a 6 month long treatment and is a quite serious treatment and very hard on all the systems in your body..There are many of us out here that are post treatment that are dealing with lots of health issues because of this treatment..Anxiety/depression short term memory problems, decreased cognitive abilities, heart problems, the list goes on and on..Many of us are now free of the virus but have other issue to deal with now. Most everyone has had problems with reading, writing ,short term memory and fatigue..
I have joined there site and support group and have found it very helpful. I didn't know others were having problems because of this treatment..I have thought about telling some of them about the site here for anxiety and panic because it has helped me so much..but I am not sure how they will be received here..I will have to think about it some more before I say anything..
I would not want to see them get hurt because the may be having a hard time getting their thought together and putting them into a written form...

Anyway I am one of the survivors and I am really doing the best I can when it comes to writing my posts and I am sure anyone else with some kind of disability is too..I am telling you this because I know you understand what it is like having a disabling illness and how sick the treatments can leave a person..I just wish everyone was as patient and understanding as you are...

Well I will talk to you later
Have good weekend.
Your forever friend.

Red.

I can not take SSRIs so if I need one, which is seldom, I take a tricyclic which is actually a mood stabilizer.

I am very happy for you. Valium brings down my BP also. It is also a muscle relaxant.

I got my bone density done today. I am still in the green but just barely. At least IO am not breaking bones spontaneously. I'm just a cluts. I plan on taking it easy this weekend (early) and doing nothing I don't want to. I may put my new bandsaw together and try it out.

Red your posts are always clear. Even spell check and grammar check won't get it all the time. If I don't understand something I'll ask.

Have a good weekend.

Davit.

Tiana.

The Doctor did not prescribe that dose, it was supposed to be half that. He meant it was okay to substitute bigger pills since that was all they had. No one told me to cut them in half. The dose is okay especially as I will be taking them three times as long as normal. The other antibiotic I will be on for three months. There is no blood flow to an artificial joint so it is pretty hard to get an antibiotic into it. The bacteria on the other hand seem to be able to survive on what little fluid is in there lubricating the knees. Yes who would have thought mushrooms would do that. They are Crimini, related to the common white button mushroom only brown and better tasting.

Hi Davit,

I see you survived all of your Dr. appointment this week..LOL!! Thats a lot of exposure and Big accomplishment for the week thats for sure..Who would of thought mushrooms would cause a reaction with your meds..Its sure good you found out that the give you the wrong dosage of antibiotic at the pharmacy today too...I guess someone up stairs is watching out for you today...Hopefully you can rest this weekend.
As for me I started my BP meds yesterday and so far so good..I also brought up my anxiety and stress to the Dr. this week and how I think it affects my bp and he agreed that it does..He noticed when he read my BP reading for the last 2 weeks that when I took a Valium that my Bp came down..I asked him if there was anything we could do about the anxiety he told me I could try a ssri if I wanted or I could take a Valium as needed..I told him I didn't like ssri's that they make me a little crazy so we decided Valium would be a good choice for me, especially if my blood pressure was getting to high due to anxiety/stress.
Anyway I thought I would tell you about this because I thought you would be really happy to know that I finally confronted my Dr and got over the fear of discussing the anxiety topic with a doctor..
I have decided to take a little break from the forum this weekend until I can get my pressure down..Things have be getting a little heated today..I'll check in on the weekend if I am feeling up to it..Well thats all for now I am going to go take a Valium and rest for the rest of the evening.. You get some rest too, you hear!!!

Your Friend.
Red..
Ps. I sure hope I got me sentence stucture, spelling and paragraph's all right and my post is easy enough to read..It is really hard to do sometimes..

Hey Davit,

I'm glad you found out about the mushrooms! That is a new one for me too. Of course I have to remind you to check with your doctor if you are changing your dose of antibiotic. That would not be a good one to develp a tolerance too without having it at a high enough dosage that is actually being effective. I hope the side effects settle down for you. Sorry you are having this struggle.

Stay tough!
