Hi Judy,
Yes, you feel like crap, and how long have you been quit? Hmmmmmmm, 19 days now. OK, and how long did you smoke? Was it longer than 19 days? I bet it was. Did you think you were gonna get rid of all the poison taken in over how many years in 19 days? Let's think realistically. When you eat a steak, it takes 72 hours to go all the way through your system and be gone. Soooo, how long do you think it might take for those 3,000 some odd toxins to be out of your system when we take them in at the cellular level? I am being very blunt, I know, but I want you to be realistic in your expectations. Every quit is different, but everyone feels worse before they feel better. It's the nature of addiction. And the junkie thoughts will use anything to get you to come back to the addiction. Don't listen, just keep on doing what you have been doing for those 19 WONDERFUL smoke free days! And know that you WILL feel better, you WILL feel GOOD, and it WILL be SO WORTH IT! Believe! And FIGHT for your life! That's what you are giving yourself, your life back, and don't let that junkie thinking tell you any different!
