Hey Bear, Great post. I have been on the journey for almost a year now and treated myself to many rewards along the way. But along with rewards I have had to learn how to handle life in a totally different way than when I was a smoker. Great Post Bear, You are so right look at me with this computer. In work I always did the books and wages by hand I was happy enough with this because it was the only way I new, then the company decided they where going to change over to computers if I remember at the time it scared the living daylights out of me I dont think I got a decent nights sleep for weeks worrying about it. I remember thinking at the time there is no way I will ever be able to learn how to do this. Now here I am years later and mind you after a lot of trial and error doing what I thought I could never do. Today I would not be without my computer its made such a great difference to my work. You are so right Bear, we can learn to do things differently and make changes that will give us a better life we can do so much if we want to its up to each of us to want it bad enough. N.O.P.E. Bear, Fantastic post and full of wisdom that come with 11 months smoke free under your belt! This is a great way to look at quitting. The journey is full of new learning experiences and it can be hard sometimes but very rewarding in the end. Learning new coping skills to deal with triggers and cravings is so crucial to being a successful quitter. Brenna, Bilingual Health Educator

That's why I call it the journey to myself. I have to learn how to be the person I was supposed to be, without the crutch of nicotine and the curse of addiction. Did you put an extra helping of smart in that soup of yours, Bear?
