Katie What you are going through I have been there. I know exactly what you are feeling. I thought I was going to die. I lost alot of weight. I am telling you that you take many deep breaths. Do alot of talking to yourself and start to eat just small amounts somewhere where you are totally relaxed. It is a awful feeling but thats all it is. No one dies of a panic attack. Hope you the best and hang in there it will pass...Laura

Hey guys thanks for everyones help. it was horrible, but did go away. i still feel shakey and am scared to eat because the only thing i could do to get it to stop was to throw up everything that i had eaten today. empty makes me feel less panicked. that was the worse one yet, and i hope it never happens again. i am in my third week of the panic program and working through it with a therapist. i think it will work alittle... at least i know what is happening now and can recognize an attack over a serious illness or condition. i'm going to stay online for a while if anyone wants to talk Welcome to all the new guys!!!! This site is fantastic! love, katie

Hello Are you still there?

Hope its passed by now - are you still feeling shaky? Oh I hate those attacks I remember having those huge attacks 3 or 4 times a week and pacing the floor waiting for somebody to come home. You probably didn't do anything for it to subside - it just went away on its own but that's why it lasted so long because of your thought processes during. Are you doing the Panic Program on this site? It is really helpful

Don't know if I can help, but I understand. Are you still online? Try a cup of vegatable bullion sipping if you are able to handle salt at all, if not don't, but sometimes I try this and only sip it a little for over a couple of hours. Like I said only if you are able to handle salt. It seems to calm me a little, but sipping a very little at a time and really not even the complete cup over the 2 hours. Hope you are able to calm yourself, I will pray for you.
