I haven't had a moment of cranky today at all. I just got done cleaning my car and spraying fabreze in it. It smells so good and the only thing that will fill my ashtray now are the shells to the pumpkin seeds. Ha Big Grin. Thanks for all the support here! You're doing great Terry! You prepared for this, and that has alot to do with your success! Enjoy it! You will do fine with the Chantix too! Just keep busy and watch that quit meter rack em up now! Go Terry! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 355 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,875 Amount Saved: $3,745.25 Life Gained: Days: 46 Hrs: 15 Mins: 32 Seconds: 45

I am a bit shocked at how easy this has been, but then again I've got the Chantix. Hopefully I'll be ok when I go off of that. It's 3PM and I haven't overeaten :) and I have worked out and I have been around smokers and I'm fine. Wohoooo! Terry :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $9.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 17 Seconds: 34

Hell week is over and I've only had 1 bad day??? Can't ask for better than that. I have always had a healthy appetite, but it's been for healthy snacks and meals for the most part. As long as I stick with that I'll be good to go. Stepping up the workouts so I don't gain them lbs. Off and running to get breakfast burritos for me and the boy! Ta ta Terry My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $9.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 34 Seconds: 17

Look at you, Terry, hell week is over!! You are doing so good. So what if you are a little b&*$%y ? You are doing an amazing thing and people will understand. Whether they have ever been smokers or not. In fact, most people expect a little edginess from new quitters. I was surprised at how much I could get away with in the beginning :eg: Now, I have to blame the cycle of the moon for my crankiness. ;) I do find that I have a lower tolerence for hunger and thirst now that I have quit. I think the cigs acted as a mask before. The joke around my office is that if it is 12:15pm and I have not left for lunch, then the correct time is "a quarter past cranky"! Have a happy Saturday!
