You have my sympathies, having another smoker in the house is tough, but I am sure it can be done. Thank goodness we quit together and are both committed to NOT starting ever again. (doesn't it smell stinky now that you are NOT a smoker to be around one?) Maybe something to concentrate on! HaHa!!

thanks to you all I have made it through those spells, and yes, I did think that after about a month it would be smooth sailing...yeah right. this afternoon my husband tells me he doesn't think hes going to quit anymore...thats his choice, if hes not ready, but it makes it a little tougher with a smoker in the house. Hes been smoking the whole time during my quit, but being very discrete about it. I am sure their are hundreds out there that have quit and had another smoker in the house...I just get a little jiggly about it, I am still not confident with myself. Thanks everyone!! Your awesome!! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,500 Amount Saved: $187.50 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 2 Mins: 50 Seconds: 9

Anxioux1 - Welcome Just to let you know that you are not alone in the 40-50 day thing. Up to the 50 day mark, I had a few terrible spells that seemed to last forever, but the fog did slowly lift each time. I, too, am usually a good natured person but the cravings and depression were getting pretty intense. I'm not sure what changed things but I started finding some joy again. Did you feel surprised that this could come this many days in to the experience? I sure did. There was this little guy in my head who was trying to convince me that once you get past hell and heck week, everything will be just peachy. Now we know, thanks to the good folks here, that we are normal and this is all part of the learning process for some people. It sounds like we may have some more unpleasantries to deal with as the different milestones arrive. But maybe not!!!! And doesn't it feel good to get your thoughts out so others can give you some support and feedback? Well anyway, I'm rambling on here. Am glad you introduced yourself and it's nice to have another soul who is close to the same quit date. Congrats on your 50 days. Ok, my smart co worker just told me our cookie software at work won't allow it, so if I am at home, my other JUNK will show up. I am not completely stupid. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,500 Amount Saved: $187.50 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 2 Mins: 44 Seconds: 0

Ok, I got my meter to show up, but what about the profile I created with a cute icon and stuff...can you believe I audit people who use computers? I can't...I keep changing it, clicking update profile and when I go back in, my icon is there but all the other stuff says no again for show age and stuff...oooh, I am getting frustrated. My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,500 Amount Saved: $187.50 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 2 Mins: 43 Seconds: 21
