Rough day yesterday

Oh my Gosh, thanks so much. Today is day 50 and I too take the B's and St. Johns Wart with it. I thought, if I feel like this for the rest of my life, I will never make it. I am naturally a very bubbly, friendly person that others come to so they can feel better. Not the last two months though. its very hard to act normal at work, like your all fine...then get home and fall apart like a lunatic. You are all so fantastic, you have no idea!! :p

Hi Anxious, Vitamin b complex was recommended to me by someone on this site early in my quit. I had the crying thing too. It did help. Anyway I took it and I got over it. I still take it when I can remember too but things have gotten so much better for me I forget. Not to alarm you but I cryed around 100 days too. something about those milestones. I had promised to give myself 6 months to see if I would be better or not. At 6 months I can tell you I would not ever consider smoking a cigarette. The thoughts are just that and It is so easy to see how much better I feel I would have to be crazy to ever smoke again. I think you will feel that way too. Hello anxious and welcome. Don't worry too much, it does get easier. We don't call the first week hell week for no reason. Just keep in mind that before you smoke, post. Wait for 5 replies and your crave should pass.....It worked for me. Hi Anxious - welcome to this wonderful site! I noticed you questioned on how to set your quit meter. If you click Community on the green bar at the top, then go to View Support Group. After you're there, on the right hand side there's the option of "personal profile". Click that and read down. Under your date of birth it should ask you whether you want to add your quit meter to all your posts. Change that to yes and then click Update profile near the bottom of the page. This should work! Good luck. Thanks, It helps to hear somebody else has these days too, I just thought it would be better by day 50. My first 30 were ok, then it started to go downhill. It is my brain working against my own self. thanks for the response.

Hey, sure hope today is a better day for you. I know how rough it is, but just keep posting and remember we are all in this together. Rationally, we all know we need to do it and it is a hard addiction to give up, but we can do this! I think my stubornness is going to get me thru this...I hate it when people tell me I can't do something. and I know that I CAN quit!! I have had horrible, "antsy" moments this week, I have paced, taken walks, felt flu like symptoms, chewed gum like it was going out of style, drank ice water, eaten bananas, whatever anyone has recommended to me and you know what? These great folks on this site have shown me that I CAN do it..I feel stonger everyday! sure there are some down moments, but just get up and get moving whenever you feel those coming on...be like the Nike ad..Just DO it!! Hang tough!

I can't get my meter or my picture to show. I am doing this at work in secret...I am a closest poster.

I went home last night and cried for almost two hours, came very close to caving, but tooks some meds and watched TV, today seems better, We'll see, I am one that can get my own self worked up over nothing, I think I am my worst enemy. Just wanted to say Hi and good day to all!! ;)
