Anxioux1 - Welcome
Just to let you know that you are not alone in the 40-50 day thing. Up to the 50 day mark, I had a few terrible spells that seemed to last forever, but the fog did slowly lift each time. I, too, am usually a good natured person but the cravings and depression were getting pretty intense. I'm not sure what changed things but I started finding some joy again. Did you feel surprised that this could come this many days in to the experience? I sure did. There was this little guy in my head who was trying to convince me that once you get past hell and heck week, everything will be just peachy. Now we know, thanks to the good folks here, that we are normal and this is all part of the learning process for some people. It sounds like we may have some more unpleasantries to deal with as the different milestones arrive. But maybe not!!!! And doesn't it feel good to get your thoughts out so others can give you some support and feedback? Well anyway, I'm rambling on here.
Am glad you introduced yourself and it's nice to have another soul who is close to the same quit date. Congrats on your 50 days.
