hi and welcome to everyone. i have a cat and dog (staffie) who sleep together in the dog's bed. had to get the dog another kitten when the last one died because she became so depressed. went work today with patch and inhalator in bag. by dinner i was having a fight in my head... "i don't have any other bad habits and i did enjoy a cigarette" "keep to smoking 10 a day, that will save me money" "i don't want to smoke, ruin what i've done so far and let down my hubby and kids" "i don't want to waste any money on cigarettes, no matter how cheap i can get them" So i locked myself in the loo with my inhalator and i've been ok since. i was so close to a slip. those nicotine junkies can really talk when they want to!! tina x My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 320 Amount Saved: 64.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 9 Mins: 23 Seconds: 56

Yes, MJ, cats are definitely welcome. Our dogs do not judge, or hold grudges. ;) New Year No Knickers! Ha ha, that's funny Deck! Hi MJ, Sure c a t lovers are welcome! I have one too, although I would hardly call my old Siamese 'relaxing'. Ever heard a Siamese cat who wants something? lol Anyway, congratulations on over two weeks smoke free and welcome! I agree that having an animal around is a great help during any stressful time. No matter how badly you have behaved, how late you come home, or who you have been with, your faithful friend will never judge you, and will always be glad to see you. What more could one ask for. MJ of course cat lovers can stay. The New Year No Nics - animal lovers welcome you all. You can even post your c a t pictures. ;) I must admit I have a little problem with the name, as where I come from Nics (Knicks) is an abbreviation of knickers. So at present I am a New Year no Knickers - I can feel the draft. My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/6/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 420 Amount Saved: $156.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 1 Mins: 14 Seconds: 41

So far for January quitters I'm seeing Kartemy, Kristilu, One More Try, Deck, Tubbies, Joy, Den, M.J. and moi (Jazz). Quite an impressive bunch! Have I missed anyone? No Jazz, I think you've covered us all. Yes, we are an impressive bunch indeed!
