this is our quote for the day, I like it. I think it sort of fits this thread. If you want to take your mission in life to the next level, if you're stuck and you don't know how to rise, don't look outside yourself. Look inside. Don't let your fears keep you mired in the crowd. Abolish your fears and raise your commitment level to the point of no return, and I guarantee you that the Champion Within will burst forth to propel you toward victory. - Bruce Jenner My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 187 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,870 Amount Saved: $327.25 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 20 Mins: 1 Seconds: 10

Good one, doodles! 37) Shout WooHoo! It's a fabulous thing you're doing & every hard time is a hard time out of the way. 38) Make a commitment that you will come here & post & wait for 5 replies before you ever smoke. I take a bath while I'm waiting. It works. Somebody, and I THINK it's Mercy, but I could be wrong, would suck on a water bottle that had a "nozzly thingy" instead of smoking and one night, reached for the nozzly thingy and it wasn't there and craved all night for the nozzly thingy. It then became a joke around this place. Forgive me if I'm wrong on the person. Crave the Quit! Get some coping strategies... gum, ice, bottled water, sumflower seeds, licorice, hard candy, silly putty, nozley thingies ;) or whatever else you think will help you. Keep these things handy and when you get a craving, reach for one of your "tools." Soon, you'll start craving the coping mechanism and NOT cigarettes! Crave the Quit! 28)When it got really tuff at night, I would take a shower, an aspirin and go to bed early. I would wake up in the morning to find out that it worked. It is pretty tricky to smoke when youre sleeping. 29) Grab for that bottle of water while driving the car. 30) While at work instead of going outside, take a few minutes to visit with a co-worker.
