Dats da ticket...You know deep down inside that you can get on nicely without whacking your heart, lungs and brain with our shared nemesis. I know its hard and the urge is great to give in to the thing that has made puppets of us all. I don't know about you, but I want to be the master of the marionettes as opposed to a bit player at the end of my rope...

Thanks Nonic and everybody. I kind of reiterated the decissions on why i want to quit smoking and even though it is tough, things have become clear.
I am more confident that i will be able to go through it, so thanks folks, the focus is back the smile is back and may the force be with all of you :-)

Return to your center and find out why you are doing this...To smoke or not to smoke will always be a choice...Moving forward the choice will be more defined and as a result easier to make...I would not bother with self recrimination, there are enough folks out there who will do that for you...Even if they are not aware that they are doing it (which is a whole lot of the time)...
This is your road, this is your choice and ultimately this is your show. Go on a write a new act, create a few more characters for laughs, but never forget that you have top billing...Your the top of the pops...Make it the production you want it to be...Devilish thing this free will business...

final,
A slip. many have had them, and kept on going. Glad you decided to give yourself the gift of stopping. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

It happens, finalcountdown. It happened to me. Just get back up & keep going. If you aren't using an NRT or any other aid, you might want to consider it. Anyway, congrats for getting right back on the wagon & not letting a slip blow your quit!

That sounds a little harsh on reading it back. Should have added a 'ha ha ha' at the end and a well done for getting thus far!!

Hello there.
Did you mean June 13th!?
Anyway, it sounds as if you are suitably contrite and you can now carry on and use this a positive thing. You will remember next time you're tempted just how bad you felt this time and won't do it again!
