Just had to share this.. I met a girl last week, she told me she has been quit for 24 years..... wow I was impressed, she said it was easy for her because she got sick and was hospitalized for 2 weeks, so when she left the hospital she was free of nicotine. During the conversation ,we talked about social smokers and I said I don't think they exist, she said of course I am one of those...... low and behold my surprise, she said I had a cig at Christmas sitting around the table with family and a cup of coffee, I said how many did you smoke, she replied 2, she says I know when to stop...... she says I think about smoking often but I don't, only once in a while. So I said do you think that by smoking once in a while you entertain the thoughts of smoking. She thought about it and said you're right if I didn't smoke once in a while I would never think about it. She stops after 2 cigarettes cause they don't really taste good, if she had a third it would be dangerous. So do you think she's a social smoker or an addict in control?
