Thanks Phil.. I can use all the support I can get at this point. I'm battling a lot of internal and external demons right now and admittedly it's very difficult but I'll come out on top - I have no choice ,, right ? Bobbi perhaps this time around will be different for you. The biggest and I find the very best thing to do for yourself is to concentrate on not smoking and keep moving as much as possible. The other thing is to drink lots of water constantly cleaning out your system of everything. You have to concentrate on not smoking 1st and foremost. Please work on that part ok.. promise me? The rest will fall into place in time. Be patient and as positive as you can be. Be happy that you are non smoker and embrace that and get out there and move ! Speaking about gaining weight.....Well on the 21 mg patches I did not gain at all for the 6 weeks on them, but now for one week I have been on the 14 mg and guess what 3 lbs. have been added I have done so much better on this quit since I hadn't gained at all, could only consentrate on the nonsmoking not both but here I go Yuck! will have to do what Jean is doing, although I did do exactally what she did the last time I quit and still gained 33 lbs. in 6 mo. so of course went back to smoking, But this time don;t know what I will do but it sure won't be to go back to smoking I promise that to myself! the only thing is to not get even more depressed with gaining weight, the last couple days have been so good and I have been so up. then weighed this morn. and there they were! oh well I will just have to work harder! what a bummer ho hum as Eore says. hugs and prayers Bobbi My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/27/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,496 Amount Saved: $122.5 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 8 Mins: 10 Seconds: 56

Thanks aloha ! :) Just a little while ago I was calling a bunch of work out places and I'm impressed with one place that you can pay monthly and it's affordable of me. Plus it's just for women which is something I would feel very comfortable with. I'm going in on Thursday to check it out, but by the sounds of it I'm very sure that I'll be signing up. It's going to be great to work out on really good machines, meet new people, get out of my environment more and the distraction of working out will definitely help me with my stress levels. I am very determined in the mental, emotional and physical needs right now. I'm going to fight both the battle of the bulge plus kicking the nicodemon in the a$$ until it's so bruised it will just stay away for good ! I'm revved ! HA ! :eg: Jean My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 41 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,043 Amount Saved: $420.25 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 16 Mins: 35 Seconds: 52

Well I was about 6 lbs over my comfort level before I stopped smoking so I just increased what my new goal to lose - 20 lbs ! Now out for my mid morning walk :p Jean My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 41 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,035 Amount Saved: $420.25 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 15 Mins: 50 Seconds: 42
