I'd love to share this weight loss experience. And this forum is the perfect place. Today I looked through all the materials I was given, made a list of a few things I thought I would need before starting tomorrow.
And its a good job I'm starting tomorrow because one of hubby's co-workers just came back from Poland and brought the most delicious chocolates back. I had a hard time keep my mitts out of the box!!!! This was the rationale - "Oh well, we don't want any of these chocolates kicking around tomorrow, best stuff in as many as possible today."
Now, back to the healthy eating. I was thinking that since I stopped smoking I really like "comfort" foods. Soups are a favourite, and there are many great healthy soup recipes out there. So I'm trying to concentrate on what I really like to eat, and find different recipes and ways to prepare them with less fat, more veggies, etc. No sense eating salad and steamed fish all the time. I really think we need to concentrate on what we like(within reason).
Let the pounds disappear!!!!
Cheers, Jan
