I can do all things through Christ. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13 NIV) ... You can do it Patty, and I'll be here to help every step of the way. Make a list of all the reasons you want to stop smoking, and then make a list of why you want to smoke. I bet the reasons why you want to stop is longer. Substitue your cigs with fruits and vegatables. I can help considering we work together!!! We can do this together!

Hi I think that is true "misery loves company", although I am not having a great day, but can't seem to put it into words today. Going home and going to bed would not be a bad idea, but that isn't going to happen, with work and then the kids and dinner and all that. Feel like I am in a fog today and a little depressed too. Hate feeling this way! Hope it ends soon. Getting tired of having to suck on candy too. But if it keeps me away from the "butts" then I will keep on keepen. (I think being a women, is part of this problem today, you know PMS)! Keep going PattyMagic, you will make it. We all have faith in you. Have a great day everone. Hi Pattymagic, You can do this, try going the steps of this program that are on the left. Decide if you think you need NRT and pick a quit date! You sound like now is the time to do this, so start now! There is a ton of support on this forum. Who cares if you gain a pound or two, you will be able to take it off when you are completely free of the cigs. Your health is more important right now. Take one step at a time, one day at a time or even 1 hour at a time. You CAN DO THIS My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: -1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Just remember how miserable being a smoker makes you. How horrible you feel evey time you give in and light up. And don't forget how much you want this. Enough that you are here, trying to quit. And we all know how hard that is. We are here for you anytime you feel the need to talk, rant, whatever. Just keep trying and remember u are not alone in this.
