want to quit smoking for good

PattyMagic, There comes a time when we have to stop avoiding the quitting thing. There comes a time when we have to face up to it before it kills us. You have made a huge first step by coming here. We all made excuses before we quit - we all put it off - we all thought it was going to be too tough. We were all scared. The program here is great - sign up for it. Planning really helps. Also, read as much as you can here. See everyone quitting successfully. See everyone helping each other. It can be done, and it's actually not as bad as you think it might be. Good luck. Use your doctor to help come up with a plan that is right for you. Have a list of activities, chores and hobbies to draw from and keep busy. Use low calorie snacks, lots of water and smaller portions to maintain your weight goals. Got questions, just ask! Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
