Monica Thanks for keeping us all informed. Look at you making it through such a major crave, and in a time of disappointment and deflation. GETTING THROUGH THIS IS HUGE! You are an awesome force and a wonderful and sweet soul. Good for you for getting up and going for your walk. I know it is cold and I probably have about the same amount of snow as you. What are you going to do to reward such a wonderful and caring intervention in your life. I hope you are going to give yourself something really wonderful and in the mean time here is a big big hug just for you... (((((((((((((((Monica!))))))))))))))) Monica Glad to hear that you are working what works. That pot of coffee was for me a big, big chunk. I finally worked it out to be a pot of coffee and a little piece of chocolate, and always always, always, sitting cause in the other life, the smoking life, the coffee was always walking and looking and doing. Hope you can reprogram that thought. Take care and take care of you. Peace Phillip :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 352 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,823 Amount Saved: $2816 Life Gained: Days: 58 Hrs: 9 Mins: 18 Seconds: 59

Monica. I am glad that you are keeping your quit. You have so much strength and you also seem to know that you have needs and need to give yourself space and time. Good for you. Use whatever tools and find the support you need from those around you to let you gather your strength and nurture your resolve. A small piece of feedback and a suggestion. That wave, think, imagine, visualize surfing in off the energy of that wave, so rather than crashing down you can ride that wave in and use the energy of it to move you forward. Blessings to you. Keep on finding that strength and keep quit. Phillip :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 347 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,683 Amount Saved: $2776 Life Gained: Days: 57 Hrs: 11 Mins: 9 Seconds: 19

Monica Thank You for posting and letting us know how you are. I will let you in on a tiny bit of information that I know has worked for me. Especially when I need to switch to the "positive" side. I look at what I can be grateful for. I look in all the little corners and all the tiny crevices of my life and find the least little thing that I can see that I have achieved and celebrate and show gratitude those pieces. I celebrate for you that you are such a caring and giving person. You the poster of angels and hugging polar bears. You the giver, the creator of comfort and nurture for others. Celebrate and be grateful for what you have created and the great and loving intervention that you are creating in your life by being free from the ravages of cigarette smoke. Celebrate, be grateful and the "positve" side will appear. Thanks again for coming by to telling it like it is for you. Don't forget to rest and rejuvinate for yourself. Big Big hugs and blessing to you the giver. Keep strong. Monica You said it girl - your house and your rules. Well done you for claiming your space. Sounds like your spirits are good and that's great. Keep this quit going - it's yours and you are on the brink of 30 days - certainly one to celebrate.
