Nonic, Ive been following day by day all posts and comments, yours in particular. I deeply understand what you mean by perceiving things in a different way. Being partly a cartoonist Ive been doing it for a long time and think it really helps to regenerate and reinforce your own self. Your humorous side is for sure as fine as your poetical. Thanks for your support and friendship. Thanks Mr. Edd, I whish to be able to celebrate year one as youve already done. All the best, mitri

Dear all At my day 21, the sensation of having missed something is still with me but so far Im becoming more and more aware that the missing thing is the cause of my void, instead of being its remedy! This thought and your experiences and advises have helped me through my physical and mental cravings. This site is my terra firma! :) Thank you all, mitri My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 21 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 106 Amount Saved: $21 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 22 Mins: 19 Seconds: 58

mitri And so it shall always be... Defeat this thing now...There is no better time or bunch of people with whom to do it... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 62 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,500 Amount Saved: $434 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 14 Mins: 50 Seconds: 25

mitri I know exactly what you mean...In fact I said to myself the other day as I was patiently checking the stop watch to see how long the current crave was..."Its not even a cigarette that I want"...The scary thing was that I didn't know what it was that I wanted...It only scared me though, until I realized that I could make that want into anyting I chose...Amazing... Oh boy there goes that free will monster again...Oh so I am not just a random billard ball eternally placed behind the eight ball...I can back out of here if I want...Fancy that...Who would have known...well me actually... nonic

mitri Cartoons is it, how cool is that...You can really use that talent in knocking this thing back, I imagine your journal is full of interesting little bits and pieces of art work...Use all you have, because this thing is one major mind bender... nonic

mitri Great to hear of your success, I was thinking of you last night and wondering if you were alright...Well apparently, you are putting some distance between your always delightful self and our mutual addiction. Stay with it. I am finding that as I train my mind to "see" in a different way, the idea of smoking is becoming more and more a caricature...a cartoon, no more necessary or vital than stick figure on a restaurant napkin...It is fast becomeing a 2D reality that used to masquerade as a 3D plseasure...Ain't no pleasure in it all, unless you happen to be an executive for Phillip Morris...
