I felt the same way you did, but after talking to my doctor, decided to stick with the Chantix. I've been smoke free for 25 days, so that means I've been taking the Chantix for 32.
I just started taking my second month, and to my relief, the dosage goes down by half. I think you've got to gradually get off of this stuff to make your chances of quitting more successful.
If you really want to stop taking it, maybe you should drop down to 1mg/day for a couple weeks. Exercising might help, too :).
