I am just barely hanging on. I am looking at a cigarette right now but promised myself to at least come here and post first and think about what I'm doing. I already feel better but I still want to light up. This is not my first attempt but it WILL BE MY SUCCESS. Wow oh wow....this is sooooooooo hard. My computer is not up so I have someone else's when I get the chance. When things get really tough for me I try to just hang on until I can get here. This was a tough crave. I will be back later on tonight.
Mamma D - you stay strong there! And get rid of that cigarette - flush it, tear it into little pieces, whatever - just don't light it and smoke it!
I think we need to learn how to face these super strong cravings and defeat them. I caved last time I had one of them and I am determined not to let it happen again. If we never learn how to get past them without smoking, how will we ever stay quit?

Mama D
I know this is hard and my heart goes out to you, but its only hard because it is so worthwhile. Please get rid of that cig as soon as you can (which would be like right now)...This can be done, we are addicts and addiction is nothing more than a series of lies we have told ourselves about the wonderful properties of nic...
I know that dosen't help you now, but if you do this now, if you wait just a wee bit longer, the urge will pass, I promise...
Stay strong
nonic
Hang tight you can do it just think to start over again would be hell. I know it is for me. this is my last quit coffee seems to be my biggest issue this time kills my stomach must stop and find a new substitute for nicotine. Best of luck to us all.

Mamma D,
Time to flush it down! You don't need that cigarette, you quit! Once you get rid of it, the temptation will be over.
