Auntdeb: I was with you when you said I was a big boy and intelligent but I got completely lost when you called me a crybaby....LOL. I dig tough love and know that is spirit in which you mean it.
Now this is a recent problem I have been privvy too, I did notice this early in my quit, however I did not want to through anything more into the mix and went with the flow. I know I am not a rip roaring fall down drunk, I have on average 4-6 beers in a 4-8 hour period, after work. So I never get drunk, I feel I must be clear on that fact, I do have kids that I am here for. I am the coach of the softball team afterall.
Auntdeb you are asking me dig REAL deep, no-one has ever asked me to dig THAT deep, and I think that kind of diggin will have to wait till the kids are grown. ...Also please don't ask if I am "man enough" That is hitting where my manhood signature is. (below the belt). I am a man in all sense of the word...Father, husband, buddy ...in that order. I work hard at that.....Again I know the spirit for which you mean it, though. I just had to say it.
Windy: Thank you for sharing your observation with me, I have never seen a post about the replacement of one bad habit for another and thought I'd start this one. It is wierd how this played out in my quit though. Now windy everytime I see your post I am going to visualise a table dancer.!!
