Don't know what to say, I am behind you. Thanks for the warning. Maybe drinking a big cold glass of water and going for a nice walk. I like to walk and just look at all that is around me ;p We are having a nice fall day here in Nebraska so I want to enjoy it because tomorrow it will be gone  Maybe we have been so caught up with quitting that now life is happening. Now we just deal with it amd WE can. Hi Sharon, I am glad you are feeling a bit better! That much needed sleep and 'me' time works wonders!! Take care of yourself and enjoy your awesome bath! ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 240 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,223 Amount Saved: $784.8 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 8 Mins: 57 Seconds: 53

Sharon, You definately are in Blah week. And many of us had to go through this as well. Just know, this will pass. You were so excited about your quit, and you made it through hell week. Then, the cravings lessened, and you were in heck week ~ still fighting and excited about all of it. Now, as you settle into a new life, you feel tired of fighting. You probably think you should feel "normal" again. Life is just day in and day out. But be careful! Do not let your guard down. That is when the Nicodemon will come in and try his hardest to turn you around. This is a sneaky little pest, but he has power if you let your guard down. My question ~ have you rewarded yourself lately? Maybe a bigger, grander, different reward is in store. Rewards help lift your spirits. Maybe it is time to add in a new 'thing' to your daily routine. Perhaps some sort of hobby, or something that has interested you for some time. Whatever you choose, please take gentle, loving care of yourself. Give yourself a break. Take time to smell the roses as they say. A 'me' break is always a good thing to take. As far as relaxation, you can buy some new bubble bath stuff, and just relax. You can get one of those things that makes your bath a whirlpool. Those are cool. You can buy a new book and a new candle. Read and smell. I'm not sure where you are at, but we are coming into our fall/winter time, and at night it sure cools off. So, I am looking forward to making a fire in the fireplace, snuggling up with a great cup of hot chocolate (or tea), or any hot beverage. You can make some sleep time tea if needed. You can also join a yoga class. You can buy a relaxation cd. I bought hypnosis cd's, and really enjoy plopping on my headphones while resting on the couch and listen. I feel rejuvinated in just one hour. Remember, just take care of you right now. ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 239 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,185 Amount Saved: $781.53 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 6 Mins: 31 Seconds: 33

Hi Pals On day 16 now and I feel all strange today. I feel like I did on day 1 & 2 - all spaced out, tired and I'm also bored with not smoking. That said, I will not smoke today because the thought of starting over makes me feel even wearier. I'm also in the middle of buying and selling a house and while I find this exciting and mostly fun I am waking up thinking about all that has to be done - which probably throws some more light on why I feel like I do. Anybody know of any good relaxation techniques I could use to quiet my mind down at times such as these. At least the distraction of the house move is drowning out the nicotine gremlin for the most part. I have reasons to be grateful and you are all among them. Thanks for the space. Hi folks Here I am on day 17. I left work early yesterday and went home and slept for an hour. Hail to the power of catnaps - I awoke feeling really good. I also discovered our central heating had been on the high setting and I think the heat was tiring me out - it's at a more temperate setting now. Tonight my husband is working and I'll have the house to myself. I'm off out at lunchtime to get all the ingredients for a sumptuous bath including wine, chocolate, face pack, bubbles and candles. Thanks for your posts folks. Yesterday was just one of those days when I had to sit down on this crazy road. Thanks for pausing with me and encouraging me to rest and continue. I have and I shall. All the best Sharon My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 172 Amount Saved: 45.73 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 10 Mins: 45 Seconds: 22
