Phil is right. Sometimes when we get sauce we say things that are hurtful. ( I am the queen of it, that is why I don't drink much anymore.) Also when people are upset, words can sting. The phrase Sticks and stones may break bones but words can't hurt me. Yeah not so when you love someone. Just forgive him in heart, tell him you are sorry, let bigons be bigon. Just don't smoke, or let this make you want to. Grace

Explain to him that the rude and nasty comments have made you upset. I am sure you already aplogized but explain to him he hurt your feelings. I betcha he will apologize for his actions. Sometimes men forget us females need them to own up to their mistakes too. HUGZ!! Hi Guys. I just wanted to post my feelings today. I'm feeling really blue. My husband and I had a huge fight on the weekend. We never raise our voices at each other - we are truly each others best friend. But we had too much to drink on Friday and I said something cheeky about his mom. He totally flipped. We've talked it through but he said some nasty things that are sticking with me and I cant seem to shake this awful gloomy feeling. I really dont have any urge to smoke. I just feel hopeless today...thanks for listening My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 112 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,349 Amount Saved: $672 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 9

thanks so much for replying guys. I was feeling really alone. I just really need to reach out and I'm at work so there's nobody to talk to about this right now.I'm so glad you understand and thankyou for the terrific advice. Despite earlier thoughts of smoking to get back at him, I most definitely will not pick up a cigarette. I do know it will only make things worse...
