Hi hannaher - What a wonderful opportunity for a couple of things... including letting him know how you're feeling (without judgment) and for learning how to take loving care of you on a deeper level... At the beginning of my Quit (well and also the middle of the time frame of it) I was so vulnerable, as so many of us are... Our smoke screen is gone - that mask we had around us, which created a fog, protected us from feeling - ((really)) feeling our emotions. We had an issue, got upset about something? We'd simply light up and poof - that smoke screen kept our feelings, our emotions, to a bare minimum... Now, w/out that smoke screen, we are wide open, we are vulnerable... And I loved the opportunity to be so open, to feel so much more, to go deeper inside myself... In this process, we have a stunning blessing of an opportunity to find ways to love ourselves, to take better care of ourselves... So I invite you to allow this to be that opportunity... let him know your truth, wrap yourself in your gentle compassion, and be kind to you right now... You're wide open, friend - and your healing... Post and let us know how you're doing... You are definitely not alone... We're all right here with you. Congratulations on being human hannaher - maybe not perfect but perfectly yourself - just like the rest of us. Making up after a row is the best bit of the row. You are each other's best friends so don't sweat it - the anger will abate and you guys will fine. Take responsibility for what you need to take responsibility for and tell him how you are feeling about the rest. Smoking to get back at him may irritate him but you will be the one who suffers most. Stay smoke free and keep going. This scenario will end and when you have moved on you'll be glad you stayed smoke free. All the best Sharon Belfast My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 175 Amount Saved: 45.73 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 11 Mins: 17 Seconds: 26

hanna, Communication is your best tool :) Also take some you time and relax yourself. Give yourself some credit for the work you have done and remember for the next time that words do hurt :) Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
