Aunt Deb--- Yes I quit cold turkey and I did it this time a little different,,I made sure that there was not 1 single ciggy left in the place ....Now that might of made the difference Don My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 659 Amount Saved: $279 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 22 Mins: 2 Seconds: 23

Hi Phil Patches on? I would never use them,, I have heard of too many scary side effects, actually this was my easiest quit that I have had,,Not too much snacking and the craving hasn't been untolerable. My woman and her daughter are very pleased with my acheivement and that is alot of extra support and what keeps me going as well. I have had trouble sleeping in for a few years now, so my pattern hasn't changed much yet. Actually, I find getting up early a good ting. I don't need to be on the job until 8 and don't have an office I have to go to every morning. I get so much done in the 3 hours before work. Read the paper, catch up email, watch the news.....a whole lot of stuff. I could never go back to the days of getting out of bed and practically running through the shower, dressing while still damp and running out the door. I actually slept until the alarm went off this morning. First time in a VERY long time. Me too, strange sleep patterns, really tired early in the evening, and then wake up early in the morning. I think it has something to do with getting your self balanced again.

I experienced that the first two weeks. I would awake at exactly 5am everyday. I no longer wake up that early and am now back to my regular sleeping pattern. This is hilarious for me... Until I quit...this time... I guess I had a sleep disorder because it didn't matter what time...I went to bed...my wake up time was 4:30 am. That was going on for a few decades! Now...I expect the Chantix has something to do with it... ...........I am experiencing quite restful sleep, dreams yes, and a full eight hours at least, "Every Night". Sweeteedon...are you going cold-turkey to Quit? auntdeb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,517 Amount Saved: $237.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 22 Mins: 14 Seconds: 31
