sweeteedon,
I can't find the posts now but if you went back far enough you'd see that I suffered the exact same experience and it went on for a long, long time! With me, I distinctly remember waking at around 4.00 every morning. Nearly 3 years later, I can still see the LCD of the radio alarm shining brightly 4:08, 3:59, 4:05, 4:00!!! and I can still remember thinking "Oh, not again!"
It was annoying at first but I rationalised that it was a small price to pay for the quit and far better than smoking!! I also got to see the sun rise and listen to the dawn chorus starting up and that's not a bad thing, even in winter!!!
Tough it out and make of it what you will, that's all I can say! Oh and I would recommend that you don't even consider sleeping tablets.
All the Best
