Tryagain: Just LOOK at your stats meter! Isn't that FABULOUS??!! You're doing great! Each crave you get through is that much closer to your last one ever! And it shows you how brief it can be and how you ARE able to ride through it and emerge victorious. Good for you! Keep the faith -- and your wonderful quit My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 115 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,622 Amount Saved: $920 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 2 Mins: 45 Seconds: 5

I quit just a few days ago. Yesterday I took my first deep breath without pain and coughing. It felt like a runner's high. This morning, I overslept! That means instead of getting out of bed like I was shot out of a cannon coughing and getting upright enough to breathe I laid there like a lazy layabout. Last night I had a crave, a bad one, it passed but it sure helps to remember these milestones when one happens. Congrats on your quit! Isn't the morning thing weird? Instead going outside with the coffee & smoke I cuddle up on the sofa & watch the news. I also notice that I don't have as much time in the morning because I seem to be taking extra special care with how I look. Probably because I feel so good??? Keep those cravings away from your runner's high!!!
