Hey Nicks I'm fine ,back to my old self, I guess something happens to us at every milestone just so we stay on guard. The sun is shining again my tear ducks have stopped leaking and I'm going strong. We will all make it one day at a time :)Thanks for asking. Ex-Slave thanks for the advise I was just contemplating popping a nicotine gum into my mouth, because I've started crying again, this is how I crave I cry, well I guess I'll just stay on the pity pot for a while until it passes. Till now I've had mints, straws, cinnamon gum water advil and what now and I still feel like crying. I'm absolutely not going to give in, this is way too important to me.To h... with cigarettes wish they never existed. Hurstk you're a hoot of course I had to check, I'm ok now I know I will have to deal with it for a long long time and I will. I just flushed my pity pot ( learnt this on this site) I swear when I go to NY. they'll think I'm American hahah.I cried all I had to cry and now I'm fine, the good thing is that when I quit and slapped on the first patch I cried for 2 whole days, now a few hours, who knows when I go down to 7mg maybe I'll just sniffle. Well thanks for the good vibes I sure needed them :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 744 Amount Saved: $196 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 13 Mins: 7 Seconds: 40

Hi all, I went down on the patch saturday, I was doing really well, thought it was a breeze, well it's hit me now (isn't that weird?) delayed effects, I don't feel like smoking I just feel a little depressed not as much as in the beginning but it's there, what a bummer (I'm really getting good at this slang) love it. Anyway thought I'd share with you in case you go through the same old, then you'll know you're not alone. Keeping up the good fight one day at a time :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 742 Amount Saved: $196 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 12 Mins: 34 Seconds: 16

I wonder if its this 50 day thing Marie? Its been tough lately, I am not coming off nicotine anything as i refused to use it. So you are not alone. I think there are a few of us going through the same thing? Maybe this is why they talk of the 50 day slump. Hello Marie, I have been ok. By end of Tues I didnt want to smoke anymore. Its almost the weekend, and my last temptation before Cyprus, a 4 day music festival. Camping and around a lot of smokers. After this weekend. That is it quiet weekends - then i am away end of the month. :) How are you feeling now? Are you feeling a bit better? I hope it is just the 50 day slump, I have just been reading that Jeani girl was feeling the same way. I am scared............tomorrow is 7 mg day!!! I'll give you a play-by-play, Marie, okay..............I rather like the idea of a placebo after this....what about those band-aids for warts? Seems appropriate! My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 70 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,544 Amount Saved: $560 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 6 Mins: 59 Seconds: 40
