Hi Marie,
I came off of the lozenges about 3 weeks ago. When I was using NRT, if I had a crave, I would pop a lozenge in my mouth and get a fix of nicotine. Now, I pop a mentos in my mouth instead. The crave still goes away; sometimes quickly; sometimes not so quickly. I used the patch before I started with the lozenges. I had the hardest time going from 14mg to 7mg. That is when i started using the lozenges so I could just have one whenever I got a bad crave, instead of a steady flow from the patch. I would not suggest going to any other NRT. It just prolongs getting all the nicotine out of your system. Deal with the craves as they come and know that someday, they will be gone!
