Since my last smoke at 10 pm last night. I woke up at 8am and have spent 4 hours in bed SINCE I got up. I am eating everything in sight, as it just seems to help. Can I go back to bed yet? No, Ash has a ballet recital tonight. Oh dear, I am going to be DRIVING?!?! ARGHHHHH!!! OMG I said ASH!!?!?! I mean...Ashleigh...how dare I give my daughter such a STUPID nickname. :quest:  :8o: I think I AM going crazy....................... Just think of all the RECOVERY your body is already going through...your body is thanking you right now. What were your reasons for quitting? Have you started a journal? Are you drinking water? Have you read through the tools on the site? Gone through the whole journey? Twice? Keep reading/posting if you can. It helps - really. We're here for you! And it DOES GET BETTER. Just hang on. One second at a time. shannonT ... go through your Quit Program Tools to the left of your screen again. Inhale deeply, exhale. Drink water through a straw. Take a shower or a bubble bath. Read threads. Post. Suck on hard candy. How about some twizzlers? Exercise. Walk around the block. Whatever you do ... don not just sit there and go crazy. Get your mind resting or occupied. You can do this. You really can. Shannon, You need to have a coping mechanism other than food! Start some projects or exercise to keep you occupied. We are always here to help and know that you made the right choice for quitting. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
