Another tear fest began yesterday. Damn gi doc is dragging her feet too. I am tired of jumping thru hoops so now the real fight begins. I am going to my PCM and I am going to tell her everything that has happened to me. Keep your fingers crossed she says enough is enough and puts in the referral for the manometer. Which reminds me: Why is it if a family pet suddenly become ill or needs an operation, they schedule it but if a human needs urgent medical attention, we have to jump thru hoops like a circus animal? *scratches head* I do not understand it. Hi Lynne. I called yesterday to confirm the pH probe and the manometer w/ her assistant. The assistant rudely says they are NOT going to do the manometer. I need that test done before my surgeon will do the surgery. I changed GI docs b/c of the same dragging of the feet. If I change GI docs again, then I have to start all over. It has been 5 mons since I got sick w/ this sliding hiatal. She doesnt have to live in pain. I do. I am tired of crying b/c of the pain. I am tired of throwing up acid b/c of the GERD. I have lost 45 pounds in 3 mons and I am truely sick and it is b/c of the hernia. *sigh* 2 hours and my PCM office opens. Hi Kat! It's not so much as missing the smokes but more so than gi docs dragging their feet while I stay in pain over the sliding hiatal. I am not sure why this is happening to me.
