Wow. Just Wow.
I have just written a post in another thread about long term issues with quitting then I find this.I expected some depression to come along during the quit and in a way it's good to hear that others have dealt with it too.

Riverdaleman, I don't know if what I read was the entire post or not but what you said really hit home with me. Looks like you made it through that tough time, good for you. Thanks for that post. You've given us all a lot to think about.

Thanks Riverdaleman, I needed to hear that. Was starting to wonder if I was in a small but exclusive group where the craves never leave and the junkie never dies. Thanks for the new hope. i for one am thankful you posted your fears i know i am no where near your quit but when we read the long term quitters like yourself it inspires us to carry on the fact that you are telling us it is still so difficult is great to read believe it or not. as we head towards or reach your goal maybe we are going to feel the same. i am feeling the same nearly everyday. your honesty is appreciated. keep strong .....and thanks My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/10/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 508 Amount Saved: 126 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 23 Mins: 44 Seconds: 49
