Some changes I have noticed ~

I've noticed some changes too. I am dehydrated, no matter how much water I drink. I feel like I have a cold, sleepy, restless, sinus aches. But you know what I think is cool? My veggies taste much better. I just keep telling myself that it took me a long time to get full of cigs, so it's going to take me a little while to clean them out. I too just wanted to eat and eat, but am much better now. not sleeping well (I had to give up my afternoon coffee which is HORRID because I LOVED and always looked forward to that afternoon pick me up, but then I lay awake at night-never really feel tired the next day though, strange enough) have LOTS more energy, maybe I'll get decaf, though it doesn't seem the same. have terrible greasy skin, also feel like I'm detoxing (I've been trying to detox by eating lots of fruits, veggies, drinking healthy drinks too etc etc--I have a juicer, apple, celery, carrot and parsley is my fave) I'm very broken out, feels like I have terrible PMS, which I probably do. as for cravings, I see them as part of life now, don't know if they'll ever go away. since I've smoked since being a teenager, I feel like I have to learn how to deal with stress completely on my own, that I never learned to cope with stress without first lighting a ciggie. So I have no clue how to deal with natural feelings that come up each and everyday. Slowly, I'm figuring it out. -C My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 294 Amount Saved: $56 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 26 Seconds: 28

Since giving up smoking I have noticed a few changes physically~ I am constantly craving sugar and sweet - I was hungry constantly and ate like a horse the first few days but now Im ok! I am drinking copious amounts of cofee ~ I have stocked up with Decaffinated Cofee else I dont think I could make it through the day can you imagine how hyper you would get drinking 10 cups of coffee!! Im not drinking as much water as usual ~ strange I have become a juice a holic since buying my juicer the juice was so good I had to buy a second Juice machine for work!! I am breathing like Ive been climbing mount everest! My skin has become oily again and I can feel like my skin is detoxing as it is very greasy - that could also be to do with the juicing!! I have been sleeping well like a baby!! Emotionally I do miss it especially when the slightest bit of stress or emotional change happens!! I know ill beat it someday till then one day at a time! Please share any changes you have noticed. thanks shaz xx

Thanks for sharing and remember if something unpleasant persists check with your doctor to rule out anything medical. The Changes you see can be pleasant and some can be less pleasant. What changes have you noticed, good or bad? Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
