Strange day ?

I totally understand. Yesterday was like that for me, and today is feeling only marginally better. It's like I'm in an entirely different world at times. Just try the deep breathing everytime you notice yourself spacing out, try to meditate a little bit on getting back into focus. I find that having a mantra to focus on helps to bring me back from those hazy times. Good luck. You know, I have been absolutly worthless this week in all areas, and I have spent a lot of time and energy feeling really guilty about it. I spend most of my time at work reading and posting and all, but I am just soooo spacey... I really should have taken vacation but we don't have the luzury of changing our vacation days here. At least I have covered well and I don't think anyone suspects. I'm hoping that by the end of this weekend, I will be able to be back to work. During my first 3 days I actually felt like I was trippin' on some type of hallucinogenic drug some of the times ... it was flippin' weird. I didn't like it. Thank goodness it passes. Hi Circuit, Tell me if I'm wrong, but before you felt stressed today, presumably you're been OK for a few days(?) The Nicodemon is a cunning creature. He (she?) will wait until you are a bit relaxed in your quit and hit you with a punch. Now after a few days of relative calm, that punch hurts a bit. The impression I'm getting at this stage of my quit (and by listening to more senior quitters) is that the Nicodemon will try this from time to time, but the frequency becomes less and the 'punch' becomes weaker. This is a blip (I bet you feel better by now anyway!) Let us know how it's going. 2 months tomorrow Circuit. You are winnning this battle Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,435 Amount Saved: 855 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 2 Mins: 11 Seconds: 14

Yes - the others are right on - use your coping mechanisms. Some days you have to breathe through stressors much more than usual. It will go back to "normal" CobenFan My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 74 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,267 Amount Saved: $259 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 21 Mins: 29 Seconds: 39
