hi there, Im at day 5 and what i do is keep busy. busy,busy... down to the nursery to look for seeds, home & pickrd up 1 of my dogs ^ walked up to my best friends house (she is a non smoker) I usually drive up there, helped her clean up her flower beds, back home, made pastry, planted seeds, made quiche, just worked like a demon. feet are killing me but avoided the huge craving I was having all day. For my mouth - smarties - I let them melt in my mouth ine at a time - that way I'm not eating an entire chocolate bar but doing something that is good. Also have discovered Manhatten mix - like trail mix but all salty - cashews, peanute, shelled sunflower seeds, almonds, some sort of sesame munchie thing - all unique tastes - a good alternative. It's helping for me

Hey jonser!! CONGRATS ON 3 DAYS!!! You did an AMAZING thing!!! You, YOU, THE REAL YOU STEPPED FORWARD AND MADE THAT UTURN!!!! For me that is nothing short of a miracle, and you should be glad that you made that decision to do that. You may FEEL a little crazed for awhile but it gets better!!!! You are NOT losing it you are just going through withdrawl and that is how withdrawl makes you feel. I know I have gotten pretty fearful of what the world would see 'me' as when I quit...some bumbling idiot stumbling through her days/daze...but as it turns out, I am alot happier because of this place SO JUST STICK AROUND AND READ AND POST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Keep those fingers tap-tapping away at the computer and we will all be here to listen and support you!!! 24/7 EVEN!!! MANY MANY BLESSINGS!!!! Hi Crazy Person... Congratulations on making it through this morning. Hope you are still hanging in there. Take some deep breathes and drink a lot of water. It really helps. Kick, scream, cry, yell, break dishes, whatever it takes. Just don't smoke. You can do it and will be so glad that you did. Let us know how you are doing.
