Hi gumphfy -
Big congrats on your 5 days!! Way to go!
Anger - yepper, it visits me too, and some days it's about 'get outta my way' GRRRRR.....
It was, for me, alot worse the first 2 weeks, but the anger is still with me, just under the surface... It does come and go more now, but it's there. I try to be aware of it and I make sure to give myself ME time, which has helped so much... And I walk every day and that helps me too... It moves the energy out and around. And walking also helps keeps me centered rather than upside down with emotions.
I go up and down even at 35 days, but it does get better.
The best advice I can give is ride those emotions, all emotions that come up, like a wave. Truth for me is that it is like a big tidal wave. Anger, lots of tears, alot of frustration, all part of the Quit.
Be patient w/yourself, and like SUNSHINE said - don't hold on to those emotions, come here and vent and get them out. We're here to listen, hold your hand, to support and to care:)
Love and many blessings-
Healer :)
