Please do go see the doctor. If only for the sense of relief. My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 20 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 409 Amount Saved: $150 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 8 Mins: 6 Seconds: 23

Goldie, please go see your doctor. If for nothing else but to ease your mind. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 59 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,189 Amount Saved: $295 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 21 Mins: 45 Seconds: 25

Hi, Goldie. I agree with everyone else, you should see your doctor. Jan, maybe you should, too. I did and, believe me, the peace of mind knowing nothing is wrong is well worth it. Stay strong. I've been reading up on some cancer sites.....and they say persistant coughs are a possible sign of lung cancer. I'm not coughing nearly as much as when I was smoking (smoked for 37 years, oh my gawd, that 37 years always makes me sad, I wish i could have quit long ago), just wondering if it will take a longer time to actually stop coughing all together?? Thanks. *nodding* I'll make an appointment, d*mn...... Finding out one way or the other will either ease my mind or start on the road to recovery.
