its too good to inhale fresh air to your maximum of your Lungs... start doing some Yoga to increase your energy. you will have a confidence that you are no more a toxic smoker...

Hi Mookie, Congrats to you and your partner. Thirty days is a great achievement. When I get this urge to just sneak "one" I remind myself that the taste of this one will probably be the equivalent to licking an ashtray. :gasp: Or I quickly smell my hair, and enjoy the smell of coconut instead of smoke. :) Gaby My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 189 Amount Saved: $69.75 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 20 Mins: 3 Seconds: 35

HI GANG I MADE IT TO 30 DAYS!!!!! WOWWWWWWWWWWWW. Never thought I would make it this far but I am so happy we did. My partner is also smoke free 30 days and her depression is better also. My biggest problem now is my "Junkie Thinking" battle. I sometimes see cigs and think I can sneak just one and no one will know. Bowling night is especially hard for me. So far I have been able to resist but I still think about it. I have tried to replace these thoughts with saving the money from smoking to go on a cruise next year. This is a major reward for both my partner and I and I am sooooooooooo excited about it!!!!!! It sure beats the heck out of sneakin a smoke!!!!! I can see that thill will be a life long battle....but one that I am winning.

Congrats on the 30 days. I also bowl, 2-3 nights a week, throw in a couple beers. Now mr. nic is really talking to me! (or so he was) It just keeps getting easier and easier, and easier. Now I hardly ever think about it. I smell it sometimes and think, God, I'm sure glad I don't do that anymore! The thing that helped me most was I would think. This craving will go away if I don't smoke, But it will come back in 25 min. if I do smoke. Keep on Rolling!!!! (pun intended) :) :p your doing great.
