I'm a newbie, but this is helping.

Alcoholics take it one day at a time...at this point I'm taking it a minute at a time. It sounds silly, but I bought a "teach yourself harmonica" set today. The activity for my hands and the concentration on breathing seems to be helping a bit.

good idea doinit. I haven't played mine in quite a while - I'll have to break 'em out. I remember (this is going to sound weird - good thing this is anonymous) when I quit for over a year before (I now - how/why did I start again) - one of the things I'd do when I couldn't sleep was go for a bike ride and play harmonica while riding down the road - can't do that as a smoker. good job and enjoy. keep on keepin' on - fish My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 42 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,280 Amount Saved: $210 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 12 Mins: 24 Seconds: 40

doinit, That's it! Use distraction and avoidance to curb those craves and you will progress! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
